As a fashion-obsessed kid growing up in Carlsbad, New Mexico, Joanna woke up early every Saturday morning to swoon over runway recaps on CNN Style with Elsa Klensch. She pored over Vogue magazines and even learned to sew in hopes of knocking off a Dolce & Gabbana runway look for her senior winter formal dance.

Joanna transitioned to corporate clients, including Neiman Marcus, Macy’s, Kohl’s, and Target before joining the trend forecasting firm, Stylesight (now WGSN), as Women’s Editor. Her job entailed analyzing runway looks to produce actionable content for subscribers, including executives from Prada and H&M. Joanna went on to spend 12 seasons working with the producers of New York Fashion Week runway shows for Tory Burch and Zac Posen.

Now back in her home state of New Mexico, Joanna is thrilled to be working with clients of all genders and sizes to create a wardrobe that suits their needs and communicates their unique personal style. From styling for special events to Closet Edits, Joanna’s goal is to make her clients feel confident and comfortable in their clothing and to share the tips and tricks she learned while working at the highest level of the fashion industry. She is available for in-person styling in Albuquerque, Santa Fe, Taos, and throughout New Mexico, as well as virtual styling nationwide.
